Run 746 and 747

Run 746

This week saw nine starters in the run along the banks of the Birrarung-Yarra through Warrandyte. Many thanks to Nada for once again running early and taking on the timekeeping duties.

Jozica was the first runner over the line this week and took the points for the win. Sandi finished in second place, just two seconds ahead of Stephen in third. Dave followed only four seconds later in fourth place, with James close behind in fifth. Nada finished in sixth position, with Atsuko in seventh. Monica and Jon were the final runners over the line.

One personal best time was recorded this week. Congratulations to Stephen for taking seven seconds off his previous PB. James was the only other runner to earn bonus points by finishing within 15 seconds of his PB.

After the run, we celebrated the end of the year at a local cafe.

Run 747

The rain held off for the five starters in the run or walk through Warrandyte this week, although Nada did get wet after running early before taking on the timekeeping duties.

Sandi was the first runner over the line with a well-timed run, followed by Paul in second place. James finished third ahead of Nada, with Stephen the final finisher this week.

Sandi was the only person to earn bonus points this week, finishing within 15 seconds of her PB.

Next week will be the final run of the season. We will have a mass start with everyone beginning at 7:30 am on Sunday 21 December.

New runners and walkers are welcome at any stage during the season.
