Congratulations Paul! This week it was Paul's turn to take out his first win for this season, with a personal best time, securing the maximum 20 points and rocketing to the top of the consistency table. Well done, Paul.
Conditions were beautiful for running this week - cool, dry and no wind. We welcomed back some old friends - great to see you and fabulous running from Lewis. Only one PB recorded this week;

Run 113
Congratulations Steve! This week it was Steve's turn to take out his first run of the season and secure 17 points. Well done.
The conditions were a bit wet and miserable this morning so it was great to see those dedicated runners out there getting a positive start to their weekend. No PB's were recorded this week.
Next week the run is on Saturday 26th May at 7:30am.

Run 112
Well this week it was my turn to take out my first ever win at Warrandyte River Runners. Thanks to my dad pushing me along I managed to cross the line first - thanks Dad.
It was a very clear, chilly morning and I think everyone took some time to warm up. As a result there were no PB's recorded this week.
A big congratulations to Lincoln for taking out the trophy for season 7 with a very consistent 103 points. The points are calculated as the best 10 runs for the season. Our runner up for season 7 was our new runner, Paul. Well done to both of you and it is great to see you turning up every week and putting in a great effort.
The winner of the kids trophy for season 7 was Martin. Congratulations Martin on taking the trophy out again - that sure is great consistency! Our kids runner up for season 7 was another new runner, Jessica. Well done to both of you and you will have to come and collect your prizes next week.
I hope all the mums enjoy their Mother's Day and good luck to anyone participating in the Mother's Day Classic.

Run 111
Congratulations Peter. This week Pete took out the first run for season 8 and secured 17 points. Great way to start the season.
This week it was also Marianne's 50th run with Warrandyte River Runners - congratulations and it's great to see you there every week.
It was lovely running conditions and with only a small field there were guaranteed points on offer. We saw 2 personal best times recorded;
Lincoln - 1 minute 42 seconds
Paul - 34 seconds
Next week the run is back to the regular Saturday timeslot so put it in your diary and set the alarm. Whether you want to take a shot at the trophy and get 10 of your best runs in for the new season, or if you just like to go for a trot and have a gas bag - we'd love to see you. The next run is on Saturday 12th May 2012 at 7:30am.
