Run 656 and 657

Run 656

There were seven starters in the run along the river this week. Thanks to Colin for coming along this morning to do the timekeeping duties.

Jozica was the first person home this week taking out the first place ahead of Paul in second. Nada ran well into third place, beating Harrison by two seconds. Jon was not too far behind in fifth place, and Atsuko and Renee were the final runners past the finishing line.

Nobody managed a personal best time this week and no one was within 15 seconds of their PB.

Run 657

This morning saw five starters in the run along the banks of the Birrarung-Yarra and through the setup for the Pottery Expo. Paul was able to run early and then do the timekeeping duties.

This week saw Dave take out the win with a beautifully timed run. Atsuko was in second place, just ahead of Monica. Paul took out fourth place and Renee was the last runner over the line.

Dave did a great job in taking 10 seconds of his previous 3 km best time, and this meant he was awarded the maximum points for his run this week. Nobody else was within 15 seconds of their PB.

Next week the run will be on Sunday 3 March with the timer beginning at 7:30 am.

New runners and/or walkers are welcome at any stage during the season.

Run 655

It was a cooler morning for the run along the banks of the Birrarung-Yarra this morning. The track seemed much busier than normal with plenty of walkers, runners, cyclists and dogs to dodge as we ran the track. Thanks to Colin for coming along today to do the time-keeping duties for us.

Jozica was the first runner over the line today, but came in under the 30 minute mark and therefore was classified as breaking. That left the win open for Paul in his second win this season. He was followed closely over the line by Atsuko and then Nada. Jon came in fourth place today and Harrison was the last runner over the finish this morning.

Nobody managed a personal best time this morning and no-one was within 15 seconds of their PB.

Next week the run will be on Saturday 17 February with the timer starting at 7:30 am.

New runners and/or walkers are welcome at any stage during the season.
