Runs 775 and 776

Run 775

There were four starters in the run along the banks of the Birrarung-Yarra through Warrandyte this week on the final weekend of the school holidays in Victoria. Many thanks to James for taking on the time-keeping duties this week.

Atsuko was the first runner over the line, coming in ahead of Tony. James took out third position and Jozica was the final runner to finish this week.

Nobody managed a personal best time and no one was within 15 seconds of their PB so no extra points were awarded.

Run 776

Once more there were four starters in our run on a chilly morning this week. Thanks to James for once again coming along to do the time-keeping duties even though he didn't compete this week.

Nada took out this week's run, coming in ahead of Stephen. Atsuko was in third place and Jozica was the last person over the line.

Once more, there were no personal bests and no one within 15 seconds of their PB.

Next week the run will be on Saturday 25 July with the timer starting at 7:30 am.

New runners and walkers are welcome at any stage during the season.

Run 774

It was a chilly morning for the weekly run along the banks of the Birrarung-Yarra through Warrandyte, with six starters taking on the course. Many thanks to Nada, who once again completed her run early before handling the timekeeping duties.

The finish was a close one this week, with just four seconds separating the first two runners. Stephen took out the win with another well-timed 3 km walk, finishing just ahead of James. Atsuko claimed third place, followed by Dave, Paul and Nada.

There were no personal best times recorded this week, and nobody finished within 15 seconds of their PB, so no bonus points were awarded.

With six starters, there was no random sock draw this week.

The next run will be on Saturday 11 July, with the timer starting at 7:30 am.

New runners and walkers are welcome at any stage during the season.
