Run 763

It was a wonderful morning for our weekly run along the banks of the Birrarung-Yarra, with near perfect conditions, not too hot and not too cold. Many thanks to James for once again taking on the timekeeping duties.

Stephen took out another win this week with a very well-timed walk. Sandi and Jozica followed not far behind in second and third place. Nada was close behind them in fourth position, while Adrienne and Atsuko finished just a second apart in fifth and sixth. Paul was the final runner over the line.

There was one personal best recorded this week. Well done to Stephen for achieving a new PB. No other runners finished within 15 seconds of their PB, so no additional bonus points were awarded.

Next week’s run will be held on Sunday 26 April rather than on ANZAC Day. As it is the final run of the season, it will be a mass start with all runners beginning at 7:30 am.

New runners and walkers are welcome at any stage during the season.

Run 762

There were three starters in the run along the banks of the Birrarung-Yarra through Warrandyte this week.

All runners went off scratch, with handicaps applied after the finish. Once the results were adjusted, Stephen took out the win. Nada finished in second place, with Jozica rounding out the field.

No personal best times were recorded this week, and nobody finished within 15 seconds of their PB, so no extra points were awarded.

Next week the run will be on Saturday 18 April with the timer starting at 7:30 am.

As the following week will be ANZAC day, we will change the date to run on Sunday instead of Saturday.

New runners and walkers are welcome at any stage during the season.
