The morning was a little on the cooler side as eight runners lined up for this week’s run along the banks of the Birrarung–Yarra River in Warrandyte.
A special thank you goes to Atsuko, who not only ran early but also kindly took on the timekeeping duties.
After her handicap was applied, Atsuko claimed first place, finishing just one second ahead of James. Jozica came through for third, followed closely by Paul and then Tony. Dave crossed in sixth, with Sandi and Jon rounding out the field.
No personal bests were recorded this week, and no one was within 15 seconds of their PB.
Next week’s run will be held on Saturday, 27 September, with the timer starting at 7:30 am.
