Run 582 and 583

Run 582

There were five starters in the run along the Yarra this week. Thanks to Nada for running early and doing the time-keeping duties this week.

Everyone took on the longer distances this week running 3 or 5 kms. Paul managed to be the first person home after the 30 minute mark. He was followed by Hayden and Tony, only 10 seconds apart. Atsuko managed to make it in fourth place and Nada was the final runner over the line today.

There were no personal best times recorded and no-one was within 15 seconds of their PB.

Run 583

It was a wet morning that saw six starters in the run this week. Thanks to Jacinta for coming along to do the time-keeping duties.

In the shorter (non-handicapped) 2km distance there was only one competitor: Jacinta. In the longer distances this week saw Harrison take out line honours, coming in just after the 30 minute mark. Hayden was only 10 seconds behind him in second place. Nada managed third place this week with Paul in fourth and Atsuko as the last person over the line.

One person managed to run a personal best time this week. well done to Harrison for taking a whopping 34 seconds off your previous 5 km PB. No-one else was within 15 seconds of their PB.

Next week is the final run of this season and, as usual, we will have a mass start on Saturday morning. All runners will begin the race together at 7:15 am on Saturday 27 August.

New runners and/or walkers are welcome at any stage during the season.
