Runs 562, 563 and 564

 Run 562

There were four starters in the run this week. Thanks to Jozica for doing the timing.

Jon was first over the line this week, followed by Atsuko. Alicia managed third place and Tessa was the final runner over the line.

No one managed to run a Personal Best time or to run within 15 seconds of their PB.

Run 563

With seven starters this morning it seemed that there was something in the air to help people move more quickly today! Thanks again to Jozica for doing the time keeping duties this week.

The first person over the line today was Jozica, but she had run too quickly for our system dn came in before the 30 minute mark, meaning that she has broken this week. That left the win open for Tessa who came in just after 30 minutes. She was very closely followed by Dave and Tony is second and third places. Hayden was only 7 seconds back from that bunch. Jon was in fifth place ahead of Atsuko, who was last over the line today.

There were two Personal Best times recorded this morning:
Dave took 34 seconds off his previous PB, and
Jozica took a whopping 1 minute and 18 seconds off her previous 3 km best time.

Two other people came within 15 seconds of their PBs:
well run Tessa and Hayden.

Run 564

It was a lovely morning for the six starters in the run along the banks of the Yarra through Warrandyte this week. Thanks to Nada for running early and then doing the time keeping duties.

Paul was the only person to take on the shorter, non-handicapped 2 km distance this week (with two dogs). In the longer distances Jozica was the first person over the line but again had run too quickly and came in before the 30 minute mark. That left the win for today to Hayden who came in ahead of Tony in second place. Jon managed third place this week and Nada was the last runner over the line.

One person managed a personal best time this week:
Jozica took another 52 seconds off her time from last week for the 3 km distance.

One other person managed to be within 15 seconds of their PB:
Well done to Hayden who continues his consistent running.

Next week the run will be on Saturday 23 April and we will continue to start at 7:00 am while it remains light enough to do so.

New runners and/or walkers are welcome at any stage during the season.
