Congratulations Paul! Today it was Paul's turn to take out his first ever Warrandyte River Runners win and secure himself 17 points. Great running and it's great to see you out running so regularly.
Today we also welcomed two new runners - Tracey and Olivia. It was great to see you out running and we hope to see you back regularly.
With such a mild morning we only saw one personal best time recorded today;
Steve - 2 mins 10 seconds.
Good luck to everyone having a go at the Run for the Kids fun run on Sunday. I hope the weather is kind and it is not too packed (yeah right!).
Next week is the Easter weekend so there will be no River Runners. Our next run will be Saturday 14th April at the winter time of 7:30am.
See you down by the hut.

No River Runners this week
With the Warrandyte Festival on both Saturday and Sunday and only a couple of people able to run on Thursday evening, there will be no Warrandyte River Runners this week.
I hope you get the chance to visit the Warrandyte Festival over the weekend and get to enjoy some of what is on offer. You can find all the details at www.warrandytefestival.org There's the excitement of the duck race, some pretty well engineered billy carts and even a 'float' down the river on anything inflatable.
The next run will be on Saturday 31st March at 7:00am.
See you down by the hut.

Run 103
Well, after all the rain we have had over the last week it was down to those courageous enough to risk getting wet. It all paid off for Lincoln with a perfectly timed run finishing right on 30 minutes after handicaps were added. Congratulations Lincoln! This is his third win for the season which allows a slight breather on the ladder. Well done.
With the markets on this weekend it meant a Sunday run and whilst it didn't rain it was a little wet under foot. This along with a mass start didn't stop a new PB being recorded nor a run within 15 seconds.
Paul K - 10 seconds - Well done on breaking the 15min barrier and in only a few short weeks!
Lincoln - within 15 seconds
Next weekend the run will be on Saturday 10th March at 7:00am.
See you down by the hut.
