Runs 788 and 789

Run 788

There were four starters in the run along the banks of the Birrarung-Yarra this week. Many thanks to Jozica for running early and then doing the time-keeping duties this week.

The win was taken out by Paul this week, with Nada in second place. Jozica was only 14 seconds back in third and Stephen was the last racer over the line.

There were no personal best times recorded, but Paul managed to get an extra point for being within 15 seconds of his PB.

After the race, Paul was acknowledged for his 500th run with the group and given a WRR 500 cap. He now joins Nada in this elite group.

Run 789

With only two runners starting out in the run this week, there were some good points up for grabs. Jozica ran early again this week to do the time-keeping duties - many thanks.

Paul took out the win again this week  giving him four wins for the season so far. Jozica came in second place.

Neither runner ran a personal best time, and neither was within 15 seconds of their PB.

Next week the run will be on Saturday 24 October with the timer starting at 7:30 am.

New runners and walkers are welcome at any stage during the season.
