Run 155

Congratulations Atsuko, taking out a well deserved win. A blistering pace from the outset and then a beautiful run home to keep just in front of Olie who placed second. This will mean only a slight penalty from the handicapper as you had a win, PB and will receive the mandatory 6 run lift in your handicap time. Third was held by Owen as he showed his dad how it is done, however his dad was adjusted due to start time.
Congratulations to all those that participated in the run for the kids today (Sunday).
Due to Easter next weekend and the market on the following weekend the next run will be on Sunday the 7th April at 7:30am. Enjoy the time off and keep running.
There was only 1 PB and 1 within 15secs:
PBs:
Atsuko - 12 secs
Within 15 seconds:
Olie
Congratulations to Lincoln on completeing his 100th run. Well done and keep up the good work.

Next week the run is on Sunday 7th April 2013 at 7:30am.
New runners welcome at any stage during the season.

Run 154

Congratulations Nada, a timely win this week. Nada was closely followed by John and Atsuko, showing that the girls are really taking the majority of line honours at the moment as the boys are only just keeping a hand in the top placings.
The weather was a little cooler after the last few weeks, so superb for a few faster runs.
PBs:
Caitlin - 5 min 26 secs (Great work)
Barbara - 1 min 29 secs
Nada - 20 secs
Atsuko - 14 secs
Within 15 seconds:
John and Ollie
I notice that Lincoln’s next run will be his 100th with us down by the river. Well done. I should also mention that Anne-Marie,   Martin and Anthony also recently hit their 50 run milestones.
Keep up the good work.
Next week the run is on Thursday 21st Mar 2013 at 6:30pm.
New runners welcome at any stage during the season.

Run 153

Congratulations Olie! A second win for the season and PB has seen maximum points allocated. It was a tough morning with humidity up at 71% and a warm 21 degrees. It showed with no other PBs.

It was good to see so many out this morning to get a start on the long weekend. Whilst Barbara and Caitlin have been a few times before it was nice to see them on the participants list. The enthusiasm Caitlin had as she finished was also great to see and more than a few smiles saw her across the line.

Keep up the good work.

Next week the run is on Saturday, 16 March 2013.

I hope to see you there and why not bring a friend or family member.

Run 152

Congratulations Marianne! This week it was Mez's turn to take out the win, with a personal best time and therefore securing the maximum 20 points and top of the consistency ladder. Well done!

Nada - 25 seconds
Atsuko - 21 seconds
Marianne - 11 seconds
Jozica - 8 seconds

Next week is a long weekend but River Runners will still be on Saturday, 9th March 2013 at 7:00am.
