Congratulations Lucia! Today it was Lucia's turn to take out her first win for the season, great running and keep up the good work.
It was quite warm this morning and I think we were all getting over our mixed up week with the Australia Day holiday on Thursday. There were no personal best times recorded today.
A big welcome back to some past runners - great to see you out there and I hope to see you all back regularly.
Pencil in Sunday 12th Feb to take part in the inaugural Run Warrandyte fun run. Unfortunately we are still waiting on final approval before I can confirm that it will be going ahead. As soon as I know I will send you all an email.
Next week is market weekend so the run is on Sunday 5th February at 7.30am.

Run 97
Congratulations Lincoln! Today Lincoln was exactly on form, crossing the line first and equalling his personal best time. Well done.
It was a beautiful morning and we welcome one new runner to the group. I hope you enjoyed the run, Jessica and we'll see you back at River Runners.
Lincoln's was the only personal best time recorded this week. As everyone gets back into their non-holiday routines I'm sure we'll see times improving.
NEW ANNUAL EVENT FEB 12 - RUN WARRANDYTE
We're still waiting on final council approval but keep your calendars free to compete (or volunteer) in the inaugural Run Warrandyte, Saturday 12 Feb 2012. Run 96
Congratulations Dan! Dan has started the season off on the right foot by crossing the line first after the 30 minute mark with a personal best and has secured the maximum 20 points. Well done.
Today was the first run for 2012 and it was great to see everyone out there running and what a spectacular finish for Dan and Martin. No cousin rivalry there! There were 2 PB's recorded today and 1 within 15 seconds. This week's PB's were;
Dennis - 1 minute 16 seconds
Martin - 5 seconds
Within 15 seconds - Alex
Next week the run will be on Saturday 21st January 2012 at 7:00am.
