Run 67

Congratulations Steve!  Today was Steve's turn to take out his first win for the season, with a personal best time, and has secured the maximum 20 points.  Well done and great finish - couldn't get any closer to 30 minutes.

It was great to see everyone out today on what can only be classed as a wet, muddy track.  With the slow track conditions it was excellent to still see 2 people record new PB's and another 2 within 15 seconds of theirs.

This week's PB's;
Margaret - 54 seconds
Steve - 20 seconds
Within 15 seconds - Lucia and Owen.

Another big congratulations to Lincoln and Leo for taking out the Season 4 trophies, with Peter and Alex taking out Runners Up.  Well done to you all.  (See below for Season 4 stats).

The weather was kind to us for yet another end of season presentation breakfast.  It was great to see you all there and thanks to Masterchef Rob for his outstanding bacon and egg rolls.

Next week is market weekend so the run will be on Sunday 5th June at 8:00am.

See you down by the hut.

Run 65

Congratulations, Marianne!  Today saw Marianne take out a win after an impromptu mass start - due to less than ideal weather conditions.  Well done Marianne, a great way to start the season with 17 points.

All runners were guarateed of extra points this morning as there were only 3 runners.  A big well done to all of you for making the effort to get out of bed on such a cold, wet day.

Another congratulations to those who competed in the Mother's Day Classic last weekend.  It sounds like everyone had a good run.

Next week's run is on Saturday 21st May at 7:30am, let's all cross our fingers for dry weather.

See you down by the hut.

Run 64

Congratulations Alex!  With only a small field today everyone was guaranteed to get more than the minimum 1 point.  Alex took advantage and was first to cross the finish line after the 30 minute mark.  Well done and a fantastic early lead on the consistency table.

Also congratulations to Peter for stepping up from the 3km to the 5km distance - good luck for the season.

Final congratulations to those crazy runners who competed against Puffing Billy last weekend.  A huge effort to run 13.2km uphill.

I hope everyone enjoys their Mother's Day festivities today - I certainly enjoyed my pancakes. :)

Next week's run will be on Saturday 14th May at the winter time of 7:30am.

See you down by the hut.
