Run 525

It was a lovely morning for a run along the banks of the Yarra river through Warrandyte. Many thanks to Nada for running early and doing the timekeeping duties this week.

After the handicaps were added to the times, it was Jon who was first over the line this week, followed by Monica. Monica came in third with Paul and James in fourth and fifth positions respectively. Jacinta walked the 3 km distance and was the last person home.

There were two personal best times recorded this week:

Jon beat his previous 5 km PB by 20 seconds, and

Monica took 13 seconds off her previous 4 km best time.

No-one else was within 15 seconds of their PB.

Next week the run will be on Saturday 30 January at 7:30 am.

Run 524

There were three starters for the run or walk along the banks of the Yarra on 16 January.

Once the handicaps were included, Jon was the winner this week, with Nada in second place. Jacinta was the only walker in the non-handicapped 2 km distance.

There were no personal best times recorded and no-one was within 15 seconds of their PB.

The next run will be on Saturday 23 January at 7:30 am.

Run 523

 It was a lovely morning on the banks of the Yarra that saw six starters running or walking along the path this morning, as well as lots of other people and dogs.

In the 2 km distance, Jacinta was first over the line today and Margaret (in a dog-hindered walk) was the other. In the longer distances after the handicaps had been added in it was Jn who took out the run. Atsuko was in second place with Nada in third. Paul was last over the line.

There were no personal best times recorded today and no-one was within 15 seconds of their PB.

Next week the run will be on Saturday 16 January at 7:30 am.

Run 522

With only one runner starting this week, I hereby declare Nada the winner of this run. Well done for showing up! She gets the only points so far for the new season.
