Run 469

There was definitely a chill in the air this morning as 13 people started the run along the banks of the Yarra in Warrandyte. Thanks very much to Jacinta for doing the timing before completing her 2 km walk this morning. We welcomed back Kaje after an extended absence from the group.

Most people took off at times which were not their handicaps so it was hard to know exactly who was in front today. After the handicaps were added in it was Kieran who managed to be first over the line today and gained the winning points. Paul managed to run into second place. Cormick was running strong today and managed third position ahead of Alicia. Rachel was next, 6 seconds ahead of Nada. Kate managed sixth place today, just ahead of Randall. Peter, Jon, Monica and Daniel rounded out the field.

There were no Personal Best times recorded today, and Kieran was the only person within 15 seconds of their PB.

This morning we also presented the winners of last season with their trophies and medals. Congratulations to the kids winner, Alicia, and runner up, Matthew. Well run for the season. In the Open section, Randall was the overall winner with 120 points for the season and Peter was the runner up with 80 points. Congratulations to everyone who came along to run at any stage during Season 28.

Next week the run will be on Saturday 25 May at 7:30am.
